can't help taking your lifeThere is this hall I walk down almost every day. The walls are white-washed brick, the carpet the kind of overly busy checker pattern that is supposed to keep your eyes off of it and forward.  A week ago I saw some girls had set up a little table there on behalf of the American Red Cross with a little banner saying so and that there was to be a blood drive the following Friday.  I slowed down to look just long enough.       “You thinking of donating blood?” asked one of the girls smiling at me from across a pile of registration forms.  From the red in her cheeks I could tell she still had all her own.  But, I was thinking about it, think can't help taking your life

Tod’s a mute, it doesn’t matter why. It doesn’t matter why, but Tod’s a mute. we shall overcomeI find it almost unbearably depressing that the Internet used to be a place where ugly people could take refuge until some narcissistic fuck came along and invented the webcam. What . The . Hell .   
Even the scanner has become ubiquitous, thanks to Epson and their delicious printer/scanner/fax combos. "17/f/ct sorry no scanner" just doesn't fly in the desert of the real anymore. Furthermore, such websites as HOTorNOT in conjunction with livejournal "rating communities" like hotties_only continue to perpetuate the concept of ugly people having no place in society and lend an even greater measure of power to the attractive elite. As you see what upsets me the most is the lack of real intereaction between the artist (whoever's turn is it) and those who appreciate their work. I get many views and downloads on my latest pieces, yet very few comments. What I need is feedback - I want you to add to my writing with your comments. Show me you're an individual capable of more than deviant art is trying to limit us to, and we can get along good. The reason I'm saying this to you is that I'm in your watchlist, so I'm assuming you're one of the views and/or downloads. So how about that feedback? If you don't actually read what i write, you can ignore this comment.
